Kimba Origins: The Story of Leo

Description

I wish I could buy the rights to make my very own Kimba the White Lion series. I would love to make a series dedicated to Osamu Tezuka, one the greatest manga authors and anime creators Japan has ever witnessed. I would like to have a team of Americans draw and animate Kimba (who will be named Leo instead and have a whole new group of friends and allies that he hangs out with) the way he was once drawn and animated in the original Kimba the White Lion series. Not the one in 1989. Yes, I've been kind of into Kimba the White Lion and have been secretly obsessing over it as early as 2003. And again, Kimba will not be known as Kimba. His name will be changed to Leo. Kind of how they changed his name to Leo in the English-dubbed verison of the 1997 film, Jungle Emperor Leo. And yes, I am totally aware that The Lion King franchise is coming out with another movie called The Lion Guard. And yes, I know that this new Lion King movie is going to be about Kimba's second cub and son, Kion. And finally, I also know that after The Lion Guard movie premieres on Disney Junior, there will be an entire series based off of it.  So, once I get a job and start earning myself enough money both to live, buy the partial rights to make my very own Kimba the White Lion series, and make a couple of web cartoons based off of the franchise, I'm hoping to boot a potential series about it on television. Now, wouldn't that be something? But for now, I'm still looking for a job and working on being more independent for now.

I'm a fan of the 1965 series. The 1966 series, not so much.
